Simple example to know what is shirk.

I ask my wife, please give me a glass of water, she goes and brings water for me, as
1.she can hear me as she is in home
2. she have the water
3. she can go and bring the water.
4. as Allah say help each other in good deeds and do not help each other in bad deeds, so this is her obligation too.

now.....

she went to her parent home 200 km away from my home.

i was sitting in my home and without any phone link or any other link...i say, my dear wife, please give me a glass of water.....if i think......
1. she can hear me without any means.
2. she can provide water from her parents home without any means

this is called SHIRK......which will never be forgiven.

May Allah guide us all..

Nicely explained by example, yes this is a type of shirk that many Muslims are unaware of specially in the Indian subcontinent and Iran.

Shirk means to Make significant different with Allah There are 2 varieties of Shirk Shirk E Khaffi and Shirk E Jahri Shirk E Khaffi means once you're making significant different with Allah circuitously that it is going to likely be accomplished via that source and you forget approximately Allah which means you're making the source significant different with Allah. And Shirk E Jahri means that without put off making some one significant different with Allah Worshiping extra then One God is an occasion of Shirk that s Why Cristi ans are Mushriks that say Jesus as Son of God desire you realize and that i'm Sorry that some all and sundry is making relaxing of your question i grow to be not awaiting that stupidity in this section

No these are merely manipulations of the physical world around us. Shirk is assigning or raising other deities or mortals to rival God's exclusivity. If you repent and realize your error God will forgive you but if you die in that state then you have forfeited your claim to forgiveness. In fact this is what is meant by forgiveness of your previous wrong doings when you accept Islam and not to expect that you will get away with murder.

When you accept a piece of information on Deen without demanding proof of authenticity (Quranic Standard) then you break the exclusivity of "belief" reserved for God Alone and that exclusivity must also be established after thorough investigation and verification. Otherwise, essentially what you are doing is to "believe" in mere mortals. Accepting "so and so said so" may not be Shirk but it sure is missing the point of why God has made Shirk the only unpardonable sin. When you commit Shirk It doesn't and cannot affect God in any way but it sure screws you up well and proper.

Please don't confuse this with a teacher telling a student something he or she doesn't know. This has to do with an external examiner testing you on what you know, irrespective of whether you are self taught and/or were taught by a teacher. Here you don't have an option to blame the teacher, you get it wrong, you fail. God in His infinite mercy is telling us; guys this is a deal breaker. It is a deal breaker because you exposed yourself to all sort of stuff that Quran was sent to protect you from. And when you do that then the deal is off.

What is the deal ? the deal is clearly explained in the Quran itself; God is telling us, I am your teacher, I will explain the verses of the Quran to you in detail, to you the the reader, read it slowly and try to understand the Quran by using your faculties of observation, reason and logic I have provided you with. Further more, God is telling us, I will protect the Quran for you, forever. I will make it unique so that nobody can duplicate it, I am doing this so that when you read it you are certain it is from me and in matters of Deen the Quran is the total deal, it is complete.

bro, how could she here you when she is not there and help.

if she is there then she could here you and help you.

shirk is something that asking someone else for help, in reality they can't that's shrik.

for example if you say to your wife you gave children this is shirk.

she did not it's ALLAH the one gave your children. if ALLAH did not gave then you would not get any. she gave birth trough.

Shirk is associating any partners to Allah or refusing to acknowledge His existence....so I'm sorry but I don't really understand how this is associated to shirk in any way?

Yes calling upon any other who cannot hear you is shirk. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) cannot hear you, so it's useless to pray to him. He is not omnipresent. Only Allah (SWT) is omnipresent. All prayers should be directed to Allah (SWT). Similarly, it is wrong for Christians to pray to Jesus (AS) cause Jesus (AS) is not omnipresent and therefore cannot hear your prayers. Pray directly to Allah (SWT) at all times and your prayers will be heard for He is All-Hearing.
