Are you asking that to a Muslim? well, i just came to know some non-Muslims prefer to eat anything bad for health in Ramadan, even dust (ans. 1, 2.)
I as a Muslim, eat regular food what I eat in all other days. At Iftaar (fast-break), I prefer to eat dates, fruit juice, rice, chicken, corns and vegetables. In the end, a cup of tea.

Soup, vegetables and desert dates, konafa, katayef and a nice cup of tea. eat with the family, get together with friends is the beauty of Ramadan.

healthy food actually. your deprived of everything you just want goood food! real meal food.
but by the time you finish your soup, your pretty much stuffed.
so everything you crave during the day, you end up eating the rest of the night. not a normal thing to do...lol. but is a common occurence.
i usually like the ramadan sweets particular to my home country, syria. its called ghuz il banat. ooohh yummy...

To break my fast, I usually drink a tall glass of iced tea with mint. After that I usually like to have a small meal of fresh foods like veggies, fruit and bread. I remember my mother putting out a large platter of watermelon, fresh cheese and bread to break our fast when I was a child. Nothing is more refreshing after a long day of fasting, especially when it falls in the summer months.

well during ramadan, one has to be very careful and selective abt the food he/she consumes. if taken teh wrong diet, it can cause fever, nausea, or stomach-ache. during teh fasting season, muslims eat b4 sunrise and then tehy eat at sunset. so, basically they don't eat anything throughout day. we eat heavy food at the time of keeping fast, that would be b4 sunrise and when we break our fast, we eat light food at first, Muhammad (PBUH) used to open his fast by eating dates, a pinch of salt, and some water. then after praying the Maghrib nimaaz (one of the five prayers) He then would eat something else. and this is exactly hwo we eat.
since eating something heavey right after starvation of whole day one falls ill, the obove is the best way of consuming food. plus it gives enough endurance to keep teh next fast.
