All belief systems are to be questioned, and this questioning makes people leave Islam. Some people might pretend their religion is "the truth", they can change the verses, interpret them in a hundred ways, etc. but for the smart ones who actually use their brains, this is not something that can have any effect on them.



Many Muslims have tried to convince about the "scientific discoveries of the Qur'an", many try to make me understand how good Islam is for the society. In the real world this is not truth. The ones that convert used to be stupid void and depressed people looking for an answer and a group to feel identify with. Weak-minded people... with no personality at all.



For example... Islam is actually decreasing. It is the fastest-growing religion by birth-rate, but of those who convert just 30% keep Muslims within the next three years, other Muslims never pray and do not know their religion, they just use Islam as a matter of cultural identity and many others are actually leaving it.



One Turkish guy (deist); I actually thing that everybody in Turkey (or at least the majority) are deists. Muslims think that their monoetheism is the only one and the truthful one... by no means, there are manh kinds of monotheism.

I have a friend who was about to turn agnostic who read up about Islam alot and ended up sticking to Islam aswell.
