MashaAllah, this is a very noble pursuit you have. I believe that you can even learn Arabic online, here are some of the best sites I've come across from which you can learn Arabic:

http://www.arabic2000.com/arabic/

http://www.madinaharabic.com/

(It's a free Arabic language course)

http://www.rosettastone.com/learn-arabic (Many say this software is the best to learn a language including Arabic)

Learning Arabic will help you gain a first hand understanding of the political, cultural, and economic situation in North Africa and West Asia. With over 280 million speakers and the status of the official language in 26 nations - Arabic is one of the most important languages of the modern world. In my opinion Arabic script is the most beautiful one in the world. Won't you love to understand what has been written beautifully on tens of thousands of historical monuments across Asia, Africa, and Europe?

Sotware will help you, but the very best way is to have a teacher. If you can not find a teacher, many Islamic sites offer tools to benefit those who want to read Quran, but I strongly suggest you find a teacher. The teacher will help you stay on track, and give you information software can not.
