because the geographical location of the countries is different.

Timing of Ramadan is based on a moon calendar. So moon phase is a bit different in all countries.

Even thats why every year the day beginning of Ramadan is changing as well

It's not possible because the graphical location of countries and places are not all the same. See, in some countries the sun down is at 7:00, at the same time, in some others it's 8:30. This is kinda like this. And Ramadan starts depending on moon sighting. If someone sees the new moon tonight in New York, doesn't mean that someone in London also saw the moon, or will se the new moon tonight.

Yes, you are right. There was a fight between two groups of muslims in our place, because some muslims in our place start Ramadan when it starts in Mecca. Others argue that they will start Ramadan only when it is time at their place. Same with ID MOON also.



I belive that it should be when your place sees the moon and not in mecca or some other country.

It's kind of stupid really.



We are supposed to follow the moon. So if one country like Saudi sees the new moon, this must mean that the new moon exists all over the world. So i don't see why some countries ignore this.



It drives me nuts.
