If I don't accept Muhammed SAW as the final messenger and prophet then how can I call myself Muslim?

If I don't follow the teachings of Rasool Allah SAW and what he gave us as Al Quran Al Karim and his Prophetic ways and sayings from himself, his family, and companions, then again, how can you call yourself Muslim?

I never said it was not ok to believe what you want to believe, Quran only AstugfarAllah, but surely don't go around calling yourself Muslim, when you are not. Call yourself whatever you want, but a Muslim follows the Quran and Sunnah of Rasool Allah SAW, have a nice day

7:157 Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) whom they find written with them in the Taurat (Torah) (Deut, xviii 15) and the Injeel (Gospel) (John xiv, 16) , - he commands them for Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained); and forbids them from Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism of all kinds, and all that Islam has forbidden); he allows them as lawful At-Tayyibat (i.e. all good and lawful as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods), and prohibits them as unlawful Al-Khaba'ith (i.e. all evil and unlawful as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons and foods), he releases them from their heavy burdens (of Allah's Covenant with the children of Israel), and from the fetters (bindings) that were upon them. So those who believe in him (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), honour him, help him, and follow the light (the Qur'an) which has been sent down with him, it is they who will be successful .

7:158 Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allah - to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). It is He Who gives life and causes death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), the Prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), who believes in Allah and His Words [(this Qur'an), the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and also Allah's Word: "Be!" - and he was, i.e. 'Îsa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), عليهما السلام], and follow him so that you may be guided. "

I wonder if :



a] someone who doesn't pray 5 times a day, doing the routine of bodily motions and mouthing of words; but, truly sees one One True God in Everything is not a Muslim, and the ones who do the ritual are?



b] someone who says la'illaha il'illahu with all the conviction of heart, and omits to say mohammadur rasool'illah, because of the injunction that Allah has No Partners, is a Muslim; or is it the one that says the whole shebang, and casually dismisses the injunction that Allah has No Partners - is the real Muslim?



c] Is it worth it to be called a Muslim, when you fail to be a Human Being, first, and think that all of Allah's children are kaffirs for you to hate and despise?



To me, being a Muslim is not worth it; being a Human Being is. That's why I'm not a Muslim.

call Non Muslims names like Kaffirs etc.

Teach your kids how all their non Muslim friends do not deserve a place in heaven

Teach them to live by Islamic Laws ( which in parctice when push comes to shove, the vast majority of Muslims them selves do not want to follow

Teach them to demand Non Muslim men convert to Islam when marrying Muslims girls ( that is if these girls survive in the first place

Tell them how there is no force in Islam but apostals must be killed

How Islam was spread by Love and never by force although Non Muslim girls regularly get kidnapped by force and either converted to Islam or just raped in places like Pakistan.

If some Muslims are brave and honest enough to protest such activities, declare them agents of Non Muslims and put a Fatwa on their heads

Brag about how brave Muslim suicide bombers are when victimes are Non Muslims but cowards when Victimes are Muslims

The list is quite long, but teach them to deny all of the above and bravely give thumbs down or better still , gang up and report abuse.
