Ramadan: Who are the prophets in the progeny of Ishmael?

Allah appointed Joseph, Moses, David, John the Baptist
and Jesus Christ as prophets in the progeny of Isac.
But in the progeny of Ishmael only Ishmael and prophet
Muhammad are well known. Were there any more prophets
in the progeny of Ishmael ?

Will knowledgeable Muslims please answer?

Assalamualaykum dear. There are no prephets in in the progeny of Ismail (A.S) but Muhammed (s.a.w.).

There are no prophets in the progeny of Ishmael. There is one who claimed to be and started his own religion, had a bunch of wives and concubines and engaged in other acts of immorality, but not a prophet.

Ismael is not a prophet according to Hebrew & Christian texts.



It was only in the rise of Islam in the 7th century in which Ismael was given the status as a prophet in order to Muhammad to have a claim into the prophet-hood.
