Question:
how to properly deal with racism?

I used to live in a very diverse area with multi-cultures. There, it was easy for me to be Muslim and practice Islam. When I say this I mean that I could easily do whatever I had to practice Islam there and if someone found out that I was Muslim I would not are because they usually always accepted it. I now live in primarily Caucasian area, where there is not much diversity. Right away, some kids at school have been acting very ignorant towards me. I get comments like "terrorist" "brown" and many people saying my religion is stupid and things like that. All I am trying to do is peacefully act according to my religion, but now when someone finds out that I'm Muslim I fret because I sense that they will be rude. How can I properly deal with such racist comments and also retain my Iman at the same time- I do not want to become a worse Muslim just to fit to their needs.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Islam teaches Hate and murder and Totalitarianism and now the reaction of Hate has begun.

Ask your parents to move to Saudi Arabia where there many jobs that pay higher than where you live and the taxes are lower than there and, it's Muslim Country with Shari'a and the Kaaba is also right there. Not only that, they have world class education and infrastructure.

Why stay in the impure kaffir lands when you can live among your own?

Nobody will stop all of you Muslims from leaving and going there.

Be strong and take it. Remember that at times of Prophet, people were tortured for being Muslim, not just insulted. Till this day it happens, in Burma and other places. Also remember that this is a test from Allah and that He will reward you if be patient.

If you weren't Muslim they will still find something to bully you about. It is just how bullies are.

My advice, ignore them and do not show that it affects you in any way even if it does. Soon it will die out. Just focus on your studies, your life, your religion, your hobbies etc. Make sure you learn good character because that is the best way to show them what Islam is about, with good character not words.

And do not forget to make Duaa

Always say,

"اللهم اكفنيهم بما شئت"

It is a Dua to be recited when you are afraid of people's harm/attack.

Recite: Allahummak-fineehim bima shi/ta.

O Allah, protect me from them with

Muslims aren't a race and how would those kids be treated in Saudi Arabia? Exactly. I'd toughen up a little bit. Quit playing the victim tired of that bs.

Some kids at school? So you're dealing with children at school calling you names? Run along and tell your teacher, kid.

If you've not made it all up to try to portray non-muslims as racists. As many Muslims have done similar things in this section.

Report them and file charges where appropriate.

Let the laws and people deal with them. Don't you waste your time.
