Salaam bro

There is nothing in the texts that directly confirm or deny the existence of dinosaurs, but based on evidence gathered we have no reason to doubt them lol. It isn't really deemed important to Islam, it really is a field for science and speculation and i suppose it wouldn't hurt to know about ancient creatures.

If you see some of the documentaries they tend to build a story around the life of a dinosaur based on bones and torsions and scratch marks and what not on it. Although that being said a lot of them seem plausible.

Basically it makes no difference if they existed, the Quran doesn't mention a lot of animals that were present at the time. I guess in Islam the message of the oneness of god and how human beings should live their lives, the prophet and heaven and hell was a lot more important than mentioning super ancient creatures.

Hope I helped.

There's nothing in the Quran mentioning that when Adam AS was sent down to Earth there was nothing else on the Earth, he was merely the first human being on Earth.

On the other hand we see that when Allah tells the angels that he is creating a representative for himself on Earth, the angels ask Allah if he is intending to set something on Earth that spills blood and corrupts it (Quran 2:30). Since the angels only know what Allah has taught them or what they have seen before and Allah is just telling them of the creation of humans, this means that they had already known creatures which existed on Earth before humans and which caused corruption in it and spilt blood.

So there had been other creatures on Earth before Adam AS and the Quran doesn't contradict with this matter, it just doesn't go into much detail about it since the Quran is not a science book even though it mentions some scientific matters when relevant.

We have scientific evidence through fossils that dinosaurs and ice age mammals existed. In fact birds are descended from dinosaurs. We could actually recreate dinosaurs if we played with bird DNA. I saw a show once that proved that chicken fetuses have teeth and evolution shows that snakes once had legs. Even though I'm Muslim I believe dinosaurs existed. The earth is 4.7 billion years old. There could have been a lot of creatures on earth before Allah (SWT) put Adam (AS) and Hawwa (RA) onto Earth.

there were stages on earth.. where as God was preparing the earth for humans..

Dinasaurs (the term is just latin for great lizard).... the term wasnt around back then, but

we all know different animals have been on earth, some extinct, some not..

alligators, snakes, turtles, bats, elephants, rhinos, armadillas, etc are all considered to be like dinasaurs.. sort of a skin like animal held over from the past..

I think a lot of creatures that went extinct are what makes up our world now.. the oil rich deposits in the earth came from decay and organic matter from the past.. so when a lot of these creatures and plants and such died, their remains are now used for us today..

I feel Adam or the first humans came here in a stage after a lot of dinasaurs had already left.. it was a new era for the world..

In answer to your first question, we know that Dinosaurs exited from the many fossils found of their remains.

Now, you say "I don't want scientific answers I think Islam knows more truth than science." Fair enough. It's your opinion, but, that doesn't mean that you are right.

So, let's examine this and see if we can arrive at what is true and what is false, shall we?

Let us put aside dinosaurs for a moment and examine the Koran.

If the Koran is true, then Allah created the whole universe and then the Jinn and then Adam, and with him - Mankind. Now, let's just examine this part for now.

If this is a fact, then, do explain to me how the children of Adam and Eve [or Hawwa] have children, because the Jewish Torah onward, into the Koran, says that there were Cain and Abel and one killed the other, but, fail to mention any other children. Then, suddenly, there are supposed to have been many other children who were their sisters and they had children from them. And, now that that hurried addition was made many many centuries later by new Authors who wrote this in to the Torah to cover up that mistake, they had to face the question of whether that was not incest, because a brother may not have sex with his own sister. And then, there was the other question - If Adam and Eve were the progenitors of all Mankind, where did the White, Black, Brown and Yellow come from? How come there is such a variety of races? Common sense tells us that a White couple cannot have Black children etc.

Like it or not, the Creation Fairy Tale runs into trouble right from the fist stage and proves itself to be a fabrication.

Now think over it. How can anything that was founded upon lies like these be the Truth?

Then, let's take up dinosaurs etc later; after we first of all find it possible to believe just this very first part of the Torah and Koran which proves itself to be a total fabrication.

they may or may not have existed. but either way, it wouldn't prove or disprove anything about Islam. You see, nowhere in Islam does it state that they didn't exist.. ever.

And learn to take your science with a grain of salt. Didn't a lot of scientific theories get superseded by newer contradicting theories when new evidence came to light. You have fossils and a theorized system to identify when and where those fossils come from. I'm not saying it's all wrong.. but it may very well be... don't be so ignorant as to say it couldn't be. That's not a very scientific approach to examining a phenomenon.

I'm not going to call names, I'm going to give you chronology:

Dinosaurs existed 24 million years ago, and we have fossil evidence.

Humans have been walking upright for the last 10 thousand years.

The writings Islam and Christianity and Judaism follow were created between 3 thousand and 1500 years ago.

Any book can say what happened a thousand years before it was written but that doesn't make it so.

Yes, they were real.

They were here before us because the climate was suitable for them then. Reptile is cold blooded, they depend on the external heat for body warm.

Today, the earth is rather too cool.Large reptile simple just couldn't survive anymore as they could be spending more whole day heating itself and still not getting the heat require.

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.

Blue -eyed surfer Jeffry Hunter portrayed Jesus in a action picture. Max vonSydom portrayed Jesus in a action picture. Willem Dafoe portrayed Jesus in a action picture. If being in a action picture skill something wasn't real, Christians are in for a marvel.

I do believe they were yes. There's many indications of their existance for example fossils and other signs of their being. You can also see signs of dinosaurs existence in modern day species as they have evolved through the millennias.

Why don't you want a scientific answer. Muslims have always accepted the scientific approach as a means to acquire knowledge. Don't be so backward.

Yea. Animals change with time. They have been created for humans. I have heard back then people were also taller and they had longer lives. I'm guessing they would have needed bigger animals too in that case.

But yea end of day only The Lord knows what used to be and what will be

No, even though the compiling evidence of fossils is so overwhelming. How can they be real? I mean, so what if someone found a fossil that resembles a shark, and carbon dating reveals it's at least 60 millions years old, it doesn't proof it's real right? No one has ever seen one. Seeing is believing. Which is why I'm baffled as to the reasons people believe God. No one's seen him/her, and he/her never left a massive tooth on earth for us to discover.

Yes they were because the fossils are proof of their existence and if you seriously believe some bullshit religion made up by primitive men has more truth then modern science then you are an idiot. Plain and simple.

Apparently there is something very wrong with your thinking. Islam has nothing to do with nor is it compatible with science.

Of course dinosaurs were real. Do you not go to school?

Yeah the proof is in the fossils and remnants they left behind. They were definitely here.

Destroy all copies of the Qu'ran, destroy all scientific textbooks, and erase all of our collective memories. Eventually we will be able to re-discover all the laws of science that we currently know exactly how they were. Our holy books? Not so much.

Islam may not be able to answer your question but Christianity can. First off, Yes Dinosaurs were real. Dinosaurs were created on the 6th day along with all the other land animals. They were created before Adam and Eve but on the same day.

Genesis 1:24 "And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and BEAST of the earth after his kind: and it was so."

However, those that think the dinosaurs died out millions of years ago are perhaps unaware of the large amount of evidence indicating that they lived recently alongside man.

There are many written accounts and depictions of dinosaurs. http://www.genesispark.com/exhibits/evidence/ Remember that the word dinosaur was invented in 1841. Before that people used names like dragon. People from all over the world have accounts of dinosaurs: the Chinese who have incorporated it into their lunar calendar, The Welsh who have the dragon in their flag; The account of the Saxon Beowolf; The native american thunderbird; and other stories from many other nations. The Romans even made mosaics of them. The temple of Angkor in Cambodia has a carving that is clearly a Stegosaur – presumably 800 years ago it was a familiar animal to them. http://creation.com/angkor-saw-a-stegosaur

Most dinosaurs died off during the Flood of Noah (Scientists agree a catastrophic event killed most of them). Although, there were some still alive.

The Bible even mentions dinosaurs. Job 40 & 41 describe some Dinosaurs who lived post-flood era. Mind you they have different names because the word Dinosaur wasn't invented until 1841.

Job 41 speaks of the Leviathan. A humongous creature who left footprints through mud. Swords and arrows could not Pierce his skin. Smoke came out of his nostrils. No man could stand up to him.

Job 41 "Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope? Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook? Will he keep begging you for mercy? Will he speak to you with gentle words? Will he make an agreement with you for you to take him as your slave for life? Can you make a pet of him like a bird or put him on a leash for your girls? Will traders barter for him? Will they divide him up among the merchants? Can you fill his hide with harpoons or his head with fishing spears? If you lay a hand on him, you will remember the struggle and never do it again! Any hope of subduing him is false; the mere sight of him is overpowering. No one is fierce enough to rouse him. Who then is able to stand against me? Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me. “I will not fail to speak of his limbs, his strength and his graceful form. Who can strip off his outer coat? Who would approach him with a bridle? Who dares open the doors of his mouth, ringed about with his fearsome teeth? His back has rows of shields tightly sealed together; each is so close to the next that no air can pass between. They are joined fast to one another; they cling together and cannot be parted. His snorting throws out flashes of light; his eyes are like the rays of dawn. Firebrands stream from his mouth; sparks of fire shoot out. Smoke pours from his nostrils as from a boiling pot over a fire of reeds. His breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from his mouth. Strength resides in his neck; dismay goes before him. The folds of his flesh are tightly joined; they are firm and immovable. His chest is hard as rock, hard as a lower millstone. When he rises up, the mighty are terrified; they retreat before his thrashing. The sword that reaches him has no effect, nor does the spear or the dart or the javelin. Iron he treats like straw and bronze like rotten wood. Arrows do not make him flee; slingstones are like chaff to him. A club seems to him but a piece of straw; he laughs at the rattling of the lance. His undersides are jagged potsherds, leaving a trail in the mud like a threshing sledge. He makes the depths churn like a boiling caldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment. Behind him he leaves a glistening wake; one would think the deep had white hair. Nothing on earth is his equal — a creature without fear. He looks down on all that are haughty; he is king over all that are proud.”"

You see Dinosaurs lived on earth with man and did not live 230 millions years ago. There are thousands of accounts, hieroglyphics, ancient artifacts, carvings of human encounters with dinosaurs. Although, they were not called dinosaurs and had many different names. History agrees with us but scientists somehow call history a lie.

If you really are interested in learning about it go to YouTube and search for "Forbidden History: Dinosaurs-and- the- bible" without the quotations.

Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
