Is it haram if a little hair shows when i wear hijab?

Arabic word Haram means forbidden. Once Fatimah daughter of Prophet SAW was wearing her scarf improperly and some of her hair were visible. Prophet noticed and said to Fatimah, "you must ware your scarf in such a way that no one can tell what is the color of your hair". That is why you will notice that Arab women ware a band on the forehead so if their scarf move back a little, still their hair don't show. On the contrary hair above forehead of Pakistani sisters show though they ware scarf. Because I guess they are not told this Hadith of Rasoolallah SAW.

Salam Really it is haram if a little hair shows when you wear hijab because all hair of a woman should be covered so just only her face and arms can be seen.If you want to wear dupatta you must put on a cap which will cover all your hair

Wth... how does that even artwork? :-S incredibly in case you have been to placed on a hijab, then it might conceal the ears, neck and hair so the rings merely isn't seen besides? I actual have never considered one among those hijab variety, do you have a image? in my view i does not placed on it like that. Hijab is starting to be to be a fashion assertion. Salam.

sis there is some thing i'v seen lots of the mohajabat girls are doing like showing some hear or wear so narrow clothes or put some big thing in the bottom of the veil looks like a ball and so on..

but with my all respect as a teenager muslim girl i feel such things insult the veil c'z iti to be or not to be ...i mean these girls should chose to wear veil or not c'z allah said in quran that we can't do like the people of the book " jewes and christians...etc who believe in some of there religion and ignore other parts ...in 15 :90,91...al-hijer chapter

@edit ...even so in arabic we call it gothlah but it still the same little bit or to much you still showing ur hair and by this way you can say you have a real full hejab ^_^

The point of covering is to be modest. I think we have gotten carried away with what is the right or wrong way to wear it. It is much more of a sin to neglect sadaka, good deeds, kindness to others, giving to the poor and sincerely praying than it is to be sure you are showing a few strands of hair. Study and contemplate the ayat in Quran about covering, but make being a good person with a gentle heart your goal.

The part of the Quran about being modest says to cover your hair? u should go back and look it up... if it's in the Quran than obey if not I'd think a little is fine idk it's up to u really and how guys you're around u treat u i guess

It is I believe. To purposely wear your headscarf while showing your hair at the front is forbidden and is not considered hijab.



And cover your arms too sister! Thats definitely not hijab...
